We would like to thank you for considering us for a booking at your venue
SCARLETT SYNDICATE comes to you from Greenville, South Carolina. The music is heavily influenced by hard rock bands from the 60’s and 70’s as well as blues and jazz music.
SCARLETT SYNDICATE is a collaboration of three well seasoned musicians who have one thing in common; they have a passion for soul stirring music. At the bands inception the idea was to create the feel and sound of the classic power trio (ala Cream, Jimi Hendrix Experience, ZZ Top etc.) but with a modern edge. They have developed a loyal following by playing various venues around the upstate of South Carolina as well as establishing a firm internet presence with roughly 3800 friends on Myspace.com and video clips on Youtube.com. The band is currently working on their debut CD which will be titled Long Way Down. Judging from the sound of the demo sessions posted on the bands website, the album will be a shot in the arm for rock-n-roll and the South Eastern music scene. SCARLETT SYNDICATE is made up of Robbie Chambers on Guitar and Vocals,
Charles Mosteller on Drums and Percussion, and Jeff Cheek on Bass and Vocals.
Robbie Chambers was born in Greenville S.C. Nine years later Robbie found his calling when he was given his first guitar. As he progressed he was given the opportunity to play publicly at an early age. His first show was with a gospel group at age 12. As he grew older he began to discover rock music. He realized the freedom that could be found within the loose confines of blues and jam music. Robbie has been in such bands as Grandma Moses and Jambone Medicine Show and he also does session work for various songwriters in the area. The influence of Hendrix and Page and Black Sabbath are obvious in Chambers music. The music of SCARLETT SYNDICATE is a perfect outlet for these influences.
Jeff Cheek started playing guitar in his early teens. He played with various bands throughout his teen years and developed his love and respect for the differences between various genres of music, although his favorite is the classic rock sounds of the early seventies. He picked up a bass at the age of 17, that’s when he realized the background grooves was the reason he fell in love with music the way he did. Some of his greatest influences are John Paul Jones, Geezer Butler, and the showmanship of Gene Simmons. His love for music and being on stage continued throughout his young adulthood where he played with various bands and experienced many different kinds of music from Death metal to country. After several different trials and errors, Jeff now feels that he has found a home SCARLETT SYNDICATE.
Charles Mosteller is the newest addition to the band and is one of the premier drummers around. His drumming style is reminiscent of the legendary John Bonham of Led Zeppelin fame and he provides a brutal backbeat with a jazzy swing.
With plenty of touring experience and his tasteful drumming, Charles adds a dose of dynamite to the bands chemistry.
